前你.S. Secretary of State Madeleine Albright will speak on the 西雅图 Pacific University campus on Thursday, April 3, at 7 p.m. in Royal Brougham Pavilion. Albright is America’s first woman secretary of state (1997-2001), the former ambassador to the United Nations, and a former member of the Cabinet and National 安全 Council.

Albright will give insight on world events and provide a vivid portrait of her years in public service. She is the author of five 纽约时报 best-sellers, writing firsthand accounts of service at the highest levels of the U.S. 政府. Her most recent book is the memoir Prague Winter: A Personal Story of Remembrance and War, 1937-1948.

Albright comes to 西雅图 as the keynote speaker for SPU’s Downtown Business Breakfast on April 4 at the Westin 西雅图. This annual event attracts more than 1,000 business and community leaders to hear from national speakers about the major issues of the day.

Royal Brougham Pavilion is located on the SPU campus at 3414 Third Avenue West on the north slope of Queen Anne Hill. Parking is available in the SPU parking lots and on the street.
